Financial Experts To Teach Children How To Save Money At Family Fair

The Family Financial Literacy Fair will be held at the Half Hollow Hills Community Library at the Dix Hills location on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for children in grades K-5. There will be activities, music, giveaways, and much more. Children will receive a free digital bank while supplies last.

“Walter the Vault” will make a special appearance. He is an animated joyful character, who promotes financial literacy to children, focusing on how to save reasonably, spend responsibly, invest wisely, give appropriately, and budget regularly. Thegiveaways at the Walter the Vault booth are sponsored by the Long Island Tax Professionals Symposium.
