Who doesn’t like Soul Food?

Our dear friend and contributor Reverend Jerry Artis has a vision for a Family Friendly Soul Food Restaurant in Huntington Station.  Renaissance Downtowns has agreed to do a feasibility study and help make this vision a reality. All we need to do is to support the idea on the Source The Station facebook page.  If the community gives this idea 100 “likes” by April 30, Renaissance Downtowns will move forward with the idea.

This is what Reverend Artis envisions serving at this restaurant:

“BBQ chicken, stringed beans, fried okra, cobbler and the fluffiest mashed potatoes you can find! A soul food restaurant would bring flavor and fun to Huntington Station. It could be a family experience as people from all over the Station come to eat in a lively, delicious and exciting place!”
