Elwood Middle School students in the Elwood Union Free School District recently took part in the United Cerebral Palsy’s annual trivia challenge. Participants raised over $2,750 in donations for this worthy cause. The funds will go towards strengthening UCP’s daily and residential programs and will help to provide vital health care and therapeutic services to individuals with disabilities.
Students of Elwood Middle School have taken part in this program for many years, having raised $47,762.55 since 1996 for the cause. This year’s winning group of students correctly answered 73 of the 100 questions given.
