Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the individuals responsible for drawing swastikas on vehicles in Melville earlier this month.
Between April 5 at 11 p.m. and April 6 at 7:30 a.m., five vehicles had swastikas drawn on their windshields with clear glue. The cars were located on Cawfield Lane, Clafford Lane, Hanford Street, and Dunford Street.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
