Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci recently visited with Boy Scout Troop 218 of Huntington Station. During his visit, Lupinacci discussed the role government plays in their lives, their rights and responsibilities as citizens and how the lessons learned from the scouting program will remain important in their future.
“The Boy Scouts program helps mold young men into people of character and provides them with tools for success in years to come,” said Lupinacci. “Through the program, scouts learn many important lessons, like the importance of hard work, self confidence and teamwork. The scouts were prepared with some insightful questions for our discussion and it was a pleasure spending the evening talking and learning from them.”
