Three Injured in Northport Crash

The Northport Fire Department, assisted by the East Northport and Kings Park fire departments, responded to a three-vehicle crash on Russell Court off Norwood Road in Northport, Sunday afternoon, April 21, at about 4:15 p.m. The crash involved a Ford contractor’s van that collided with a Chevy Tahoe and a parked Lincoln. Three female patients suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Huntington Hospital by Northport and East Northport rescue squads. Forty firefighters and emergency medical personnel were on the scene with four ambulances, an engine, heavy rescue truck, ladder truck and first responder, under the command of Northport FD First Assistant Chief Joe Pansini and Second Assistant Chief Brad Wine.
