Good Faith Walk
So many local Huntington residents demonstrated their commitment to helping others by putting on their best walking shoes to make a difference.  On Good Friday, many willing volunteers turned out at Walt Whitman High School to join in the Good Friday “Good Faith Walk” and show their support for this worthy charity.  Organized by Ms. Ginger Hoernig, a Mother of Love Volunteer who helps prepare and deliver meals to families in need, the Good Faith Walk has thus far raised over $11,000 in donations.  In its 18th year, the walk continues to grow and is a shining example of how committed local residents are in helping others.

If you missed the walk but are still are interested in donating, there is still time.  Donations are being raised for three local charities which are St. Hugh of Lincoln Parish Outreach, Maternal Life International, and a local resident in need of home health care by the name of Arthur Schwartz.  Checks to any three of these charities can be sent to Ginger Hoernig, 4 Chambers Court, Huntington Station, NY 11746.
