AGENDA FOR TOWN BOARD MEETING DATED: MAY 7, 2013 RESOLUTIONS:

2013-188. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a contract with the Suffolk County Board of Elections for the use of Huntington Town Hall as a polling place for the Election Districts 30 and 63 in the Town of Huntington.

2013-189. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a contract between the Town of Huntington and the CSEA Employee Benefit Fund.

2013-190. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute an agreement with the CSEA Employment Benefit Fund to provide retired members of the CSEA bargaining unit the option of participation in the CSEA Employee Benefit Retiree Dental/Optical Plan.

2013-191. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to apply for and receive funding from the New York State Office of children and family services for state aid for the Youth Bureau Administration, Youth and Family Services and Runaway Homeless Youth Services for 2013.

2013-192. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute agreements with the Suffolk County Youth Bureau for the provision of various Youth Services through the Youth Bureau’s Comprehensive Youth Service Plan for 2013.

2013-193. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute an agreement with the North Shore Veterinary Hospital for the purpose of conducting a low cost spaying and neutering program.

2013-194. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a license agreement with the Daniel J. Guido Memorial Fund for the use of Elwood Park for its annual fundraising event and further authorizing the Supervisor to execute a New York State Liquor Authority Special Event Permit application.

2013-195. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a modification and extension of the Memorandum of Understanding with F.E.G.S health and human service system nunc pro tunc.

2013-196. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a professional services contract with Fundamental Business Service, Inc. for data processing and collection services to assist in the enforcement and collection of outstanding town parking violations.

AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a license agreement with the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce for the use of Crabmeadow Beach for its “Networking Luau” event on July 31, 2013 and further authorizing the Supervisor to execute a New York State Liquor Authority Special Event Permit.

2013-200. AUTHORIZE the filing and execution of an application with New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) for financial capital assistance for the Huntington Area Rapid Transit (HART) System nunc pro tunc.

2013-201. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to certify an application for pension waiver pursuant to Section 211 of the New York State Retirement and Social Security Law on behalf of Kenneth Lindahl.

2013-202. AUTHORIZE the use of Dix Hills Park Pool by the children of Tri Community and Youth Agency upon payment of a flat fee for the summer of 2013.

2013-203. AUTHORIZE the use of Dix Hills Golf Course by the Special Olympics Long Island Region to conduct a golf program for athletes with special needs.

2013-204. AUTHORIZE the waiving of fees for ice rink charter time at the Dix Hills Ice Rink on May 18, 2013 to benefit the Suffolk County Police Department Memorial Fund.

2013-205. AUTHORIZE the waiving of admission and skate rental fees for one public session at the Dix Hills Ice Rink on August 8, 2013 to benefit the fresh air fund families of Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

2013-206. AUTHORIZE the Town Attorney to take appropriate action including but not limited to the commencement of a civil action for the appointment of a receiver, for injunctive relief and monetary relief against the owners, operators and/or persons in charge of the property located at 2 Faith Court, Dix Hills, New York and all responsible parties (0400-273.00-03.00-020.000).

2013-207. AUTHORIZE the Comptroller to amend the 2013 Operating and Capital Budget for the Town of Huntington and its Special Districts.

2013-208. AUTHORIZE the Comptroller to amend the 2013 Operating Budget for the Town of Huntington and its special districts-various departments.

2013-209. AUTHORIZE the Comptroller to amend the 2012 Operating Budget for Year End adjustments for the Town of Huntington and its Special Districts-various departments.

2013-210. AUTHORIZE the Comptroller to amend the 2012 Operating Budget for Federal Disaster Relief Aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) associated with Hurricane Sandy for the Town of Huntington and its Special Districts.

2013-219. AUTHORIZE the construction of improvements to various town buildings and facilities, stating the estimated maximum cost thereof is $350,000, appropriating said amount for such purpose, and authorizing the issuance of $350,000 bonds of said town to finance said appropriation.
