Car Crashes Into Larkfield Road Building

The Commack Fire Department responded to an accident after a car lost control following a crash and slammed into the rear of a commercial building containing several stores on Larkfield Road near Colonial Street, Sunday morning, May 19.  Two engines responded and firefighters secured the car and checked the building for structural damage, under the command of First Assistant Chief Andrew Babajko. The driver was transported to St. Catherine’s of Siena Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps. The Town of Huntington and Commack Fire Marshals were requested to the scene.
