On Thursday evening Huntington Republicans held the nominating convention for the upcoming November elections. The official slate of candidates that were endorsed by both the GOP and Conservative party is as follows:

Town Supervisor: Eugene Cook

Town Council: Mark Mayoka

Town Council: Josh Price

Superintendent of Highways: Peter Gunther

Both party leaders expressed that unifying and coming together would provide the best opportunity for success this November. Conservative Party Chairman Frank Tinari announced the cross endorsement for all Republican town candidates at Thursday evening’s convention. With the slate set, nominating petitions will now be carried during the month of June.

The Independence party has yet to provide endorsements.  We will provide those results as soon as the information is made available.
