Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci visited Alternatives for Children, a local preschool offering special education for children ages three to five with special needs. During his visit, Lupinacci toured the school, met with faculty and staff and spent time with the students.
“Alternatives for Children provides an outstanding educational environment for students who have a disability that may be affecting their learning,” said Lupinacci. “Marie and everyone at the school create such a caring and stimulating environment. I want to thank them for allowing me the opportunity to visit and see all the wonderful activities available to students.”
Alternatives for Children is licensed by the New York State Department of Education and Health and the Nassau & Suffolk County DOH Division of Services for Children with Special Needs. The school accepts both traditional and special needs students, with services for some eligible children provided at no out-of-pocket cost to families. More information on the school is available at www.alternativesforchildren.org.
