Child Care Council of Nassau Adds Huntington Resident Corey Gluckstal to Board of Directors

Child Care Council of Nassau (Council) is delighted to share that they have added six new members to their 2013-2014 Board of Directors. The new members are from various parts of Long Island, and each and every one of them brings to the board different backgrounds and sets of skills that will be useful and beneficial to Council.

Corey Gluckstal lives in Huntington, New York and is a founding Principal of Sabre Investment Group in Garden City. Previously, Gluckstal has led the Investment Sales Division for Sperry Van Ness, and held executive positions at Sleepy’s and Estée Lauder. He has an MBA in Finance from Hofstra University, where he focused on Investment Banking and Capital Markets.

Gluckstal is a member of the Long Island Real Estate Group, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society.

Gluckstal has been an active and enthusiastic member of Council’s Golf Committee for several years. This year he supplied new ideas, participants and sponsorships, helping to ensure a successful outing. His entrepreneurial spirit and results-oriented leadership abilities will help guide Council in a direction to grow and expand.

Council’s 16 Board Members will each be serving 3-year terms, for a maximum of three terms. Board member duties include: being an enthusiastic and knowledgeable voice for Council, acting as ambassadors for the mission of the agency, serving actively on at least one committee, contributing financially to the organization, and educating oneself on the issues and advocacy needed to promote high-quality child care and early learning as it relates to Council’s role as a child care resource and referral agency.
