The Matinecock District, Boy Scouts of America, will hold its monthly leaders’ Roundtable Meeting on Thursday, February 13 at John Glenn High School, (Elwood Road, Elwood). Fellowship/gathering is at 7:30 p.m. followed by break-out sessions starting at 8:15p.m.

Roundtable is designed to help Cub Scout and Boy Scout volunteer leaders do a better job working with our youth. The Matinecock District serves youth living in the Town of Huntington, as well as the Commack, Hauppauge and Kings park school districts in western Smithtown Township.

If you are interested in the Scouting program, come on down and see how we are helping to build the leaders of tomorrow today. The Cub Scouting program serves boys in first to fifth grade, Boy Scouting serves boys 6th grade & up and Sea Scouts and Venturing, Scouting’s  co-ed program, serves youth ages 14-21.
