11.	2014-99. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a contract for the provision of professional ice skating instruction at the Dix Hills Park Ice Rink.

 

12.	2014-100. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a contract for photography services for camps with James A. Hall Photography.

 

13.	2014-101. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a contract with Phil Bauccio Consultants & Associates to provide Risk Management Consulting Services.

 

14.	2014-102. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a requirements contract for the bus services for various recreation programs with Baumann & Sons, Inc., Coastal Charter Service Corp. and Huntington Coach Corporation.

 

15.	2014-103. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a requirements contract for the light truck and heavy duty manual transmission and rear differential, rebuild and repair with Drive Train Truck Parts Corp.

 

16.	2014-104. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a contract extension with GEI Consultants, Inc. for Crab Meadow Hydrology Study and Stewardship Plan.

 

17.	2014-105. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute an extension to the requirements contract for the summer food service program for Project P.L.A.Y. and St. John’s Camp with Lessing’s, Inc.

 

18.	2014-106. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute an extension to the Townwide requirements contract for pavement markings on various Town Roads with Safety Marking, Inc.

 

19.	2014-107. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute an extension to the requirements contract for the maintenance of the ice rink refrigeration system at the Town of Huntington Dix Hills Park Facility with Industrial Refrigeration, Inc.

 

20.	2014-108. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute an extension to the Townwide requirements contract for drainage and concrete construction with The Landtek Group, Inc.

 

21.	2014- 109. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a change to the existing contract for the rehabilitation of Well 6-1, with A.C. Schultes Inc., for the Dix Hills Water District.

 

22.	2014-110. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute an extension to the agreement to provide audit services for the Deferred Compensation Plan for employees of the Town of Huntington with Toski and Co., CPA’s. P.C.

 

23.	2014-111. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute an extension to the franchise agreement to conduct a kayaking program for the Town of Huntington Department of Parks and Recreation to Long Island Kayak Experience, Inc.

 

24.	2014-112. AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute various agreements for the Movies on the Lawn Series.

2014-113. AUTHORIZE Huntington to participate in the 2014-15 World Wildlife Federation “Earth Hour City Challenge” and calling on Town Residents to join millions of neighbors around the world switching off their lights for one hour on Saturday, March 29 at 8:30 PM in support of Renewable Energy and creating a more resilient and sustainable planet.

 

26.	2014-114. AUTHORIZE application to National Wildlife Federation’s Trees for Wildlife Program nunc pro tunc.

 

27.	2014-115. AUTHORIZE the Comptroller to amend the 2014 Operating Budget for the Town of Huntington and its Special Districts-various departments.

 

28.	2014-116. AUTHORIZE the Comptroller to appropriate funds from the General Reserve for the purpose of funding the purchase of parking signs – Department of Public Safety.

 

29.	2014-117. AUTHORIZE the correction of Code Violations at various locations pursuant to the Code of the Town of Huntington.

 

30.	2014-118. ACCEPT donations from various merchants and businesses Re: 2014 Valentine’s Day Ceremonies performed by Town Clerk, Jo-Ann Raia, who serves as the Town’s Marriage Officer, nunc pro tunc.

 

31.	2014-119. ADOPT the donation of Old Soundview Boat Ramp wooden floats to the Incorporated Village of Northport.

 

32.	2014-120. APPROVE Public Official Bonds nunc pro tunc.

 

33.	2014-121. ESTABLISH various fees for the Department of Parks and Recreation Programs and Facilities.

 

34.	2014-122. EXTEND the time for filing the Covenants and Restrictions set forth in Resolution No. 2012-91 (SCTM No. 0400-188-01- (001, 002, 005, 021.001, 023.001, 024.001, 024.002, 025.001, 057.001 & 109) and 0400-132-04 (007, 008 & 009).

 

35.	2014-123. URGE the Governor and State Legislature to enact legislation (S6657/A8887) requiring the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code to create standards for the installation of carbon monoxide detectors in restaurants and other commercial buildings.

 

36.	2014-124. AUTHORIZE appropriate action(s) in accordance with Huntington Town Code Chapter 156 Property Maintenance; Nuisances, Article VII, Blighted Property, §156-67, action by Town Board for failure to comply or abate violations.

 

37.	2014-125. ENACTMENT: ADOPT Local Law Introductory No. 4-2014 amending the Uniform Traffic Code of the Town of Huntington, Chapter 1 (General Provisions), Chapter 3 (Parking Regulations) and Chapter 4 (Parking Fields).

 

38.	2014-126. ESTABLISH rates for parking at spaces designated as metered parking pursuant to the Uniform Traffic Code of the Town of Huntington (Parking Meters and Multi-Space Parking Pay Stations).

 

39.	2014-127. ENACTMENT: ADOPT Local Law No.  -2014 amending the Code of the Town of Huntington, Chapter 159 (Recreational Facilities), Article II (Use Regulations and Restrictions), §159-20 (Behavior and Conduct) and Article III §159-31 (Permit; Application and Issuance).

SCHEDULE A PUBLIC HEARING: To consider adopting Local Law Introductory Number    -2014, considering Zone Change Application #2012-ZM-389, known as BK Elwood LLC (The Seasons at Elwood), to change the Zoning from R-40 Residence District to R-RM Retirement Community District for the property located on the west side of Elwood Road, north of Fair Oaks Court, Elwood, SCTM #0400-170-02—015.001.

 

41.	2014-129. SCHEDULE A PUBLIC HEARING: To consider adopting Local Law Introductory Number    -2014 amending the Code of the Town of Huntington Chapter A202 (Subdivision Regulations and Site Improvement Specifications).

 

42.	2014-130. SCHEDULE A PUBLIC HEARING: To consider amending the Uniform Traffic Code of the Town of Huntington, Chapter 2, Article II, §2-2, Schedule B. Re: Bellerose Avenue, Cedar Road, Larkfield Road, East Northport/Commack-No Turn On Red.

2014-131. AUTHORIZE the acquisition and installation of New Street signage in connection with the street name sign safety program, stating the estimated maximum cost thereof is $200,000, appropriating said amount for such purpose, and authorizing the issuance of $200,000 bonds of the Town to finance said appropriation.

 

44.	2014-132. AUTHORIZE the construction of various drainage improvements, stating the estimated maximum cost thereof is $400,000, appropriating said amount for such purpose for such purpose, and authorizing the issuance of $400,000 bonds of said Town to finance said appropriation.

 

45.	2014-133. AUTHORIZE the acquisition of Highway equipment, stating the estimated maximum cost thereof is $400,000, appropriating said amount for such purpose, and authorizing the issuance of $400,000 bonds of said town to finance said appropriation.

 

46.	2014-134. AUTHORIZE the construction of improvements to various roads, stating the estimated maximum cost thereof is $2,100,000, appropriating said amount for such purpose, and authorizing the issuance of $2,100,000 bonds of said town to finance said appropriation.

 

47.	2014-135. AUTHORIZE the construction of improvements to the Town dock, stating the estimated maximum cost thereof is $1,100,000, appropriating said amount for such purpose, and authorizing the issuance of $1,100,000 bonds of said town to finance said appropriation.

AUTHORIZE the acquisition of a parcel of real property pursuant to a proceeding undertaken pursuant to the New York State Eminent Domain Procedure Law, stating the estimated maximum cost thereof is $1,687,500, appropriating said amount for such purpose, and authorizing the issuance of $1,287,500 bonds of the Town to finance a part of said appropriation.
