Huntington Arts Council Presents 5th Annual Got Talent

The Huntington Arts Council is proud to announce the opening of auditions for “Got Talent? Long Island”, a talent competition for performers 18 years & under which will take place on May 31, 2014 at 7:30pm at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center at Five Towns College, Dix Hills, NY.  Comedians, dancers, musicians, singer-songwriters, poets, magicians… anyone who thinks they have talent are encouraged to audition.  Grand Prize includes a $1,000 cash award and paid performance at the 49th Annual Huntington Summer Arts Festival.

 

Audition Fee $25.00 for members of the Huntington Arts Council; $35.00 for non-members.

 

In-person auditions will take place at two locations (reservations required):

  • Saturday, April 12 from 1:30-5:30pm at the Huntington Center for Performing Arts, 310 New York Avenue, Huntington, NY 11743
  • Sunday, April 27 from 1:30-5:00pm at Hofstra University, Netherlands Hall, Oak St.  (On-street parking available) Hempstead, NY 11549

Bands must submit a CD or Flash Drive of their auditions – no live auditions.

Please note that online applications end at 12:00 noon on April 12 and April 27th respectively (payment must be received before you are given an audition time).  All registrations will receive an email confirmation re: your audition time.

 

The Huntington Arts Council’s “Got Talent? Long Island” is a fundraiser to benefit the Huntington Arts Council, a 501 C (3) not-for-profit organization. “Got Talent? Long Island” is a variety show featuring the best talent Long Island has to offer. “Got Talent? Long Island” promotes the performing arts.
