Centerport FD Tree Lighting and Santa Visit

Santa and his helpers from the Centerport Fire Department recently held their annual Christmas Tree Lighting and visit from Santa at the Centerport firehouse.  The evening began as the Oldfields Middle School choir led the community in singing traditional carols.  Centerport firefighters soon lit the tree and provided an escort for Santa, as he arrived from the North Pole by Ladder Truck with flashing lights and sirens and spread holiday wishes to all.  Following the festivities, all were invited into the firehouse where the Centerport Ladies Auxiliary served delicious hot chocolate and donuts.
