Wanted for Petit Larceny

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Second Precinct Crime Section are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the two male subjects who stole merchandise from the Sears department store in Elwood.

On June 18, 2012, at approximately 4:50 PM, two unknown white males entered the Sears department store located at 4000 Jericho Turnpike in Elwood. The two men took the escalator to the second floor, walked over to the bedding department, and took a king sized bedding set worth $210.00 from the display. The suspects went back down the escalator and walked out of the store without paying for the merchandise.

One subject was described as a white male, approximately 30 to 35 years old and he had a tattoo on the right side of his neck. He was wearing glasses and had on jeans and a long sleeved, button down Polo brand shirt. The other subject was white with a tan complexion and several tattoos. He was wearing jeans and a long sleeved, plaid button down shirt.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
