Third Annual Huntington Awareness Day
The Third Annual Huntington Awareness Day kicks off with a parade on New York Avenue (Route 110) in Huntington Station and continues with a day-long festival in the municipal parking lot on New York Avenue between Railroad and Church Streets.
The parade will include floats, antique cars and two high school marching bands and will be led by the Rosen family, who are being honored for their contributions to Huntington Station’s revitalization.
The festival will include performances by two rock bands, Knomad and Just Cause, the Northport Jazz Ensemble and Mahamaim’s Gracias Choir.
The festival will also include “bouncy” rides for children, the return of the popular chalk flood, an art show and more than 40 booths from both businesses and not-for-profit groups. Admission to the festival is free.
