 If you have not had the pleasure of visiting Venetian Shores and Beach Hut in Lindenhurst this summer season, this weekend is the last opportunity of the year.  This is a great place for people of all ages.  There is a beach and sprinkler park for the kids.  Adults can enjoy the live music while sipping on frozen drinks or cold beer. 

Beach Hut has a full dinner menu including all your favorite seafood dishes as well as burgers and fries.  They also serve breakfast and lunch.  Friday night is lobster night which makes tonight your last opportunity.  They have a full bar with a wide array of offerings from delicious frozen drinks, beer on tap and mixed drinks.  You can also choose to bring your own food and set up a picnic on the beach.

The sprinkler park which opened in August of 2005 is a great deal of fun for the kids.  They can play and get sprayed at this a big colorful playground.  There is also a traditional playground on the grounds.

Venetian shores is located at the 801 Granada Parkway, off Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst.  The phone number for Venetian Shores park is 631-893-2100 and the Beach Hut can be reached by calling 631-956-0066.  Call for directions and fees.  (Huntingtonain tip:  If you enter the park after 5:30, there is not a fee to enter.)  The sprinklers usually remain on until 7:00, but call to confirm on the day you plan to attend.
