Conte Earns ‘A’ Rating For Record On Environment
Assemblyman Jim Conte (R,I,C,WF-Huntington Station) has received one of the highest scores in the state Legislature fromEPL/Environmental Advocates, which released its annual environmental report card of state legislators earlier this week.
Conte earned a score of 99 out of a possible 105 in the report, one of the highest ratings of any lawmaker onLong Island.EPL/Environmental Advocates gradesNew YorkStatelawmakers according to their votes on bills that could help or harm our air, land, and water.

EPL/Environmental Advocates calculates lawmakers’ scores by using ratings developed by its sister organization, Environmental Advocates of New York. The top possible score was 105; legislators earned between one and three points for votes in support of bills the group deems important.
