Four Injured in Deer Park Avenue Crash

The Dix Hills Fire Department and Suffolk Police responded to a a two-car collision that resulted in four injuries and snarled traffic Tuesday morning, November 29, in the northbound lanes of Deer Park Avenue at DeForest Road in Dix Hills. Dix Hills Fire Department Rescue Squad ambulances transported two patients to Huntington Hospital, and two patients to Good Samaritan Hospital, all with non-life-threatening injuries. About 20 fire/rescue personnel were dispatched with three ambulances, a fire engine, and a paramedic unit under the command of Chief Richard Granahan and First Assistant Chief Tom Magno.
