Vehicle Broken into – Dix Hills

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk Police Second Squad Detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who broke into a vehicle and stole property at a residence located at Pineland Court in Dix Hills.

 On Friday, October 28, 2011, at approximately 1:00 PM, an unidentified male broke the passenger side window of a white 2011 Nissan and removed a black leather purse containing a wallet and BlackBerry phone from the vehicle. The victim’s credit/debit card was later used at a Pathmark store located in Deer Park.

 Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
