Two Teens Injured in North Amityville Shooting

Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that injured two teenagers at a house party in North Amityville this morning.

 An unidentified vehicle drove past a house party at 38 Ronald Drive East in North Amityville and fired five or six shots into a group of people standing outside the home at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, December 31.  A 16-year-old Huntington Station woman was struck and was taken by ambulance to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. She is in serious but stable condition.

An 18-year-old Copiague man was also struck in the calf and was self-transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was treated and released. 

The investigation is continuing.
