The Town of Huntington Holds a Boating Safety Forum

Place: Huntington Town Hall, 100 Main St., Huntington

The Town of Huntington holds a boating safety forum to help educate boaters on how to act and react when attending events on the water such as fireworks shows. The forum was prompted by the tragic incident on July 4 in which three children died when a boat capsized after watching a fireworks display in Oyster Bay Cove. Among those attending the forum will be the family of 8-year-old Victoria Gaines,one of the victims.
