Sirens Sound in Honor of Victims of Sandy Hook Tragedy

The Suffolk County Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services has advised all Suffolk County Fire Departments and Districts of the national commemoration for Sandy Hook Victims on December 21, 2012.  Fire Departments and Districts can voluntarily sound their alarms 26 times at 9:45am in honor of the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy and to honor fellow firefighters and EMS personnel who responded to this incident.
