UPDATE: Marie Imbesi has been located and unharmed.
The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert in regards to a missing woman who suffers from dementia.Marie Imbesi, 74, was last seen at 1 p.m. today outside of her residence at 3 Cherrywood Drive, Commack. She was driving a white 2000 Cadillac Seville, with a tan top, and New York license plate of CFF-1497. Imbesi is described a white, 5 feet four inches tall, with brown eyes, light brown hair, and weighs 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, tan plaid scarf, blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. She also wears glasses. Anyone with information on his location is requested to contact the Fugitive/Missing Persons Section at 631 852-6040. As a reminder, the Silver Alert is a new program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have gone missing.
