Capital One Bank Honored For Community Involvement
Suffolk County Legislator William R. Spencer (D-Centerport) honored Capital One Bank and its associates, represented by Capital One’s Long Island Market President, Andrew Corrado (left) for their community involvement through “Investing for Good.” This service initiative focuses investment into four critical building blocks of community economic opportunity: affordable housing, education, economic development, and financial literacy. Additionally, in 2012, Capital One Bank associates served more than 13,500 hours on Long Island creating financial literacy kits for local youth, tutoring, providing homework help and other educational, recreational, and after-school activities at Family Service League Service Centers. Legislator Spencer is proud to commend Capital One Bank for its extraordinary efforts in community development.
