Renaissance Downtowns/Source the Station was hired by the Town of Huntington in July 2011 to revitalize downtown Huntington Station. Mr. Porter will update us on the developer’s efforts.

Vision Long Island is an Islandwide nonprofit organization that promotes “smart growth” initiatives aimed at re-development and open space preservation. Vision also supports mixed-use and mixed-income communities that the organization touts as convenient, attractive and pedestrian-friendly, while making affordable housing and public transportation desirable and realistic. Mr. Alexander will speak about Vision’s take on the Town of Huntington’s future development.
