Renaissance Downtowns/Source the Station was hired by the Town of Huntington in July 2011 to revitalize downtown Huntington Station. Mr. Porter will update us on the developer’s efforts. http://sourcethestation.com/about-renaissance-downtowns/
Vision Long Island is an Islandwide nonprofit organization that promotes “smart growth” initiatives aimed at re-development and open space preservation. Vision also supports mixed-use and mixed-income communities that the organization touts as convenient, attractive and pedestrian-friendly, while making affordable housing and public transportation desirable and realistic. Mr. Alexander will speak about Vision’s take on the Town of Huntington’s future development. http://www.visionlongisland.org/
