A Huntington Station man was riding his bicycle on New York Avenue on March 16 when an unknown man assaulted him in front of the Huntington Public Library, located at 1335 New York Avenue, at 4:20 a.m. The victim, 31, fell and hit his head and was transported to Huntington Hospital where he received stitches.
The suspect is described as light-skinned black or Hispanic, between 20 and 30 years old with black hair. He was wearing a light-colored vest and tan pants.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect who assaulted this man.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
