Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci recently visited the Huntington Station Enrichment Center to learn more about the resources provided to students attending the center. Lupinacci, a professor and former school board member, shared a personal favorite story, The Swing by Joe Cepeda, with the students during his visit.
“Reading to a child opens them up to a whole world beyond their everyday life,” said Lupinacci. “Whether it’s a motivational story, a biography or a scary story, encouraging children to read and use their imaginations puts them on a path to educational success. The students at the Huntington Station Enrichment Center are able to take time each day to advance their education and help themselves on the road to success.”
