Man Stole Watches Worth More Than $36,000

Watch theftOn May 19,  at approximately 5:15 p.m., a man entered Tourneau, located at 160 Walt Whitman Road, and stole two Rolex Yacht-Master men’s watches, valued at more than $36,000. The man asked to see the watches, tried them on and fled the store without paying. The man was described as black, in his early 30s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, clean-shaven with short black hair.  He was wearing a lime green shirt with a green tie, dark-colored jacket and beige pants.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating this man.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
