Northport Symphony Orchestra Seeks New Members

The Northport Symphony Orchestra seeks new members in all sections.  We are a diverse group, including both music professionals and those for whom music is a joyful avocation.  Our repertoire ranges from Baroque through Classical and Romantic to early twentieth century, and has included music by Bach, Telemann, Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Mendelssohn, and Vaughan Williams.

 We perform two public concerts per year as well as outreach and educational performances.  Our spring concerts feature area musicians, both professionals and gifted students.  Our most recent concert in May featured Cold Spring Harbor High School senior Alec Maire playing the Cello Concerto in D Major by Haydn, as well as “Legends” by Dvorak and Symphony No. 99 by Haydn.
