Kindergarten classes at Harley Avenue Primary School in the Elwood Union Free School District entertained their parents with a special Thanksgiving presentation that took place in the school’s cafeteria. Students performed a series of songs dressed as Native Americans and Pilgrims.
At the conclusion of the celebration, students enjoyed a delicious feast with their parents that included cornbread and butter they made themselves.
When asked what he was thankful for, one student replied, “I’m thankful that my family was here, clapping for me as I came in to the show!”
