Commack Middle School Student Government members wrapped gifts for customers at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore in East Northport and collected donations for the victims of the recent typhoon in the Philippines. The students also crafted rainbow loom bracelets in the colors of the Philippine flag to sell during lunch periods at school. All proceeds from these events go to the Red Cross and UNICEF to help the families and communities that were devastated by the strongest typhoon on record.
