Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci recently joined friends and family to honor the two newest Eagle Scouts of troop 409 in Dix Hills, Steven Cornetta and Ryan Toohe. The scouts celebrated their Eagle Scout Court of Honor in December.
“I want to applaud Steven and Ryan for all the hard work that goes in to making the Eagle Scout and congratulate them on this terrific accomplishment,” said Lupinacci. “Becoming an Eagle Scout isn’t just about completing merit badges; it means they’ve become men of real character. Ryan and Steven both demonstrate a true sense of courtesy and respect for those around them. I would also like to extend a special thanks to both young men’s parents, scoutmasters and families, who sacrificed their time and energy to help the scouts reach their goals. It is reassuring to know that Long Island has such worthy young leaders to help inspire future generations.”
