Despite concern from Huntington Union Free School District Board of Education, the Town Board intends to vote on important zoning changes for Huntington Station at tonight’s (2/4/14) Town Board meeting meeting.
The following zoning changes are scheduled to be voted on at this evening’s Town Board Meeting:
2014-61. AUTHORIZE the first amendment to the Master Developer Agreement by and among the Town of Huntington, Town of Huntington Economic Development Corporation and Renaissance Downtowns at Huntington Station, LLC.
2014-63. AUTHORIZE the Comptroller to re-allocate funds from the Town’s Affordable Housing Trust and Agency Account to the Take Back the Blocks Columbia Terrace Project.
2014-80. ENACTMENT: ADOPT Local Law Introductory Number 34-2013, amending the Zoning Map on the Town Board’s own motion to change the zoning from C-6 General Business District to C-6 Huntington Station Overlay District for property located on the south side of Railroad Street, East of Lowndes Avenue, Huntington Station, SCTM# 0400-147-01-005.003. |
40. | 2014-81. ENACTMENT: ADOPT Local Law Introductory Number 35-2013, amending the Code of the Town of Huntington, Chapter 198 (Zoning), Article IV (Commercial Districts), Section 198-27.1 (C-6 Huntington Station Overlay District), to add a Special Use Permit for Hotels. |
2014-85. SCHEDULING A PUBLIC HEARING: To consider adopting Local Law Introductory Number -2014, considering Zone Change application #2013-ZM-395, Halil Akkaya – Xtra Fuel, to change the zoning from C-6 General Business District and R-5 Residence District to C-11 Automotive Service Station District for property located on the southwest corner of Depot Road and East 13th Street, Huntington Station, SCTM# 0400-145-03-030.
