Wanted for Counterfeit Currency

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who used counterfeit money at a store in Commack in June.

A woman entered Game Stop, located at 5960 Jericho Turnpike, and purchased a Playstation and assorted video games using two counterfeit $100 bills. The suspect was described as black, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
