The Huntington Manor Fire Department responded after a car crashed into a house on Hillwood Drive in Huntington Station, early Tuesday morning, May 6. Firefighters battled the resulting fire that spread from the burning car to the home. About 35 firefighters operated at the scene with three engines and two ladder trucks, under the command of Chief Fred Steenson, Jr. The Huntington Fire Department assisted at the scene, with the Melville Fire Department providing standby coverage. There were no injuries reported.
