The famous Eaton’s Neck duck marches at the Annual Independence Day Parade held in Eaton’s Neck. This year’s parade was postponed until July 5 due to the inclement weather on July 4. The festive event featured many local fire departments, U.S Coast Guard, veterans organizations, and local residents with patriotic-themed floats. Local dignitaries joined in a service to honor our country’s military serving to protect our freedom. Following the parade, the community was invited back to the Eaton’s Neck firehouse for a traditional barbecue of hot dogs and hamburgers.
