The Townwide Fund of Huntington (www.townwidefund.org) is pleased to announce that Huntington Village resident Trish Rongo has been named Executive Director.
As Executive Director, Ms. Rongo will be responsible for helping the Townwide Fund continue its mission of supporting Huntington’s social service agencies, continuing its more than 50 year tradition of ensuring that “Money Raised in Huntington Stays in Huntington.” She will oversee the operational side of the Townwide Fund and assist President Jim Powers in furthering the TWF’s corporate relationships, partnerships with private and public companies, sponsorships and payroll deduction plans.
Ms. Rongo brings a wealth of experience to the position, having held various executive positions in professional and volunteer capacities in many local Huntington organizations. She most recently served as Marketing & Development Manager at the Whaling Museum & Education Center in Cold Spring Harbor. Prior to that, she was Marketing Manager at Huntington Village Dental. Ms. Rongo has served on the Executive Planning Committee for Huntington Hospital’s Annual Gala and is an Immediate Past -President of the Junior Welfare League of Huntington.
Trish has been an active member of the community since moving to Huntington Village in 2004. She currently serves on several committees in The Huntington Chamber of Commerce and is a member of Leadership Huntington’s Class of 2014.
