Woodhull Student Reported Incident on the Way to School

MWoodhullessage from Huntington School District:

Please be advised that a Woodhull student reported this morning that while walking to her bus stop, she witnessed an individual on foot at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and West 9th Street who had exposed himself to her. The individual did not approach her, but was a short distance from her as she walked down the street. The individual was described as a male, medium complexion, approximately 5’8” in height and in the 27-37 age range.

Once the student arrived to school, the Second Precinct was contacted promptly. A report has been filed and an investigation is underway.

Should your child experience a similar encounter or should he/she possess any additional information in this regard, it is important that it be reported promptly to the Second Precinct (854-8200) and to a building administrator.

I urge you to take this opportunity to reinforce personal safety and associated procedures with your child.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

James W. Polansky
Superintendent of Schools

  1. When are the Police and the Town going to address the day laborers loitering in plain site all along Depot and Pulaski, very close to where this occured?? How difficult is it to enforce loitering law and to deport those who are here illegally??? Perhaps when Petrone and Cuthbertson can benefit financially from dealing with this glaring breach of the law and the Police get around to caring enough about the quality of life in this area, something will be done. Or rather they’ll be motivated when it directly impacts them.

  2. They cannot ask for ID. Illegals aliens are not wanted or welcomed here. The politicians are fools and tools of the liberal corruptness. The greatest threat to America is its government.
