Huntington Municipal Golf Courses Closed Jan. 1-3 2017

The Town of Huntington’s two municipal golf courses, Crab Meadow and Dix Hills, will be closed for three days beginning January 1, 2017, as a result of a changeover in course management.

The Town’s relationship with Integrity Golf, which managed the courses for the past two years, ends on December 31, 2016. The closure is needed to transition to different computer systems as a result of the change, under which the Town will take over management for what is expected to be a brief period.  The Town Board has scheduled a January 10 public hearing on a proposed license agreement with Dietz Golf Corporation to manage the golf operations at the courses.  If approved, Dietz would take over management shortly afterward.
