Melville Fire Department and Suffolk PD Assist Injured Worker after Roof Fall

The Melville Fire Department responded to assist an injured contractor who fell approximately 25-feet from the roof a commercial building on Spagnoli Road, Saturday, May 27, 2017 at about 1:30 p.m. The injured man suffered head injuries and was airlifted by Suffolk Police medevac helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital. Melville FD was on the scene with two ambulances, two engines and a paramedic responder, under the direction of Second Assistant Chief David Kaplan.
