Wanted for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument Fake Twenties

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who used counterfeit currency at a Huntington Station store in April, 2017.

On April 24, 2017 at approximately 2:30 p.m., a man used twelve counterfeit $20 bills to purchase clothing at Lord & Taylor located in the Walt Whitman Shops at 158 Walt Whitman Road, Huntington Station.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
