Dix Hills Head On Crash – Wolf Hill Road Two Injured

The Dix Hills Fire Department responded to a head-on collision Sunday afternoon, November 12, 2017 on Wolf Hill Road near Magnolia Lane at about 1:20 p.m. The crash involved a Toyota sedan and a Dodge pickup truck that were heavily damaged. Both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Huntington and Southside hospitals by the Dix Hills Rescue Squad. About 20 Dix Hills fire/rescue volunteers were dispatched with three heavy rescue pumpers, two ambulances and paramedic unit, under the direction of Assistant Chiefs Alan Berkowitz and Joe Williamson. Suffolk County Police were also dispatched to the scene.
