Jacqualyn of West Babylon Wins $25,000

On Sunday, January 7th the 21st Semi-Annual Mercedes-Benz raffle was held at Little Shelter Animal Rescue in Huntington. The winning ticket was number 070. Our lucky winner was Jacqualyn of West Babylon. Director David Ceely, presented Jacqualyn  who was present for the drawing with the check for $25,000. 

Right before the drawing was held, many of Little Shelters donors who had purchased tickets for the raffle showed up to watch the live drawing. Little Shelter’s adoption office was buzzing with individuals all hopeful that they were the ones holding the soon to be winning ticket. The drawing was done by special guest Sara Ann Finermann, Marketing Director and Public Relations of the Garden City Hotel.

After Jacqualyn left with her prize Little Shelter Director David Ceely stated. “It’s so amazing that Jacqualyn was sitting right in the crowd. We rarely have that happen but it makes it so much more exciting. ” After the drawing, there was a special raffle of wine to those who attended the live drawing as Director Ceely gave thanks to all those who participated and purchased tickets. 

All proceeds went to helping the animals at Little Shelter Animal Rescue.
