Lupinacci Honors Long-time Volunteer Firefighter

Huntington Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci joined in the ceremony January 15 honoring Huntington Manor firefighter Louis Agiesta for 50 years of service to the department, including a term as chief.

Chief Agiesta also served as president of the Town of Huntington Chiefs Council and was a member of the Town’s Fire Advisory Board. Among his many contributions to the Huntington Manor department was to co-chair the children’s Christmas party for many years and to serve as an advisor to the Huntington Manor Juniors.

At the ceremony, Supervisor Lupinacci presented Chief Agiesta with a proclamation signed by the entire Town Board.

“I admire Chief Agiesta’s long-time dedication to protecting residents of the Huntington Manor Fire District,” Supervisor Lupinacci said. “Everyone in the community thanks him for his contributions and we all wish him many, many more years of service.”
