The Melville Fire Department and Huntington Manor Fire Department were both dispatched to a two-vehicle crash with an overturned SUV on Route 110 and Schwab Road on Monday morning, April 23, at about 8:30 a.m. Firefighters removed one victim from the SUV who was transported to Huntington Hospital by the Melville Rescue Squad with non-life threatening injuries. Melville FD was on the scene with two ambulances, an engine, heavy rescue truck, fire police and paramedic responder, under the direction of Third Assistant Chief Jason Bernfeld.
