Emerging Business Leaders At Harborfields School
At its Dec. 19 meeting, the Harborfields Central School District’s Board of Education and administration honored students who placed in a recent business competition.
Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Administration Dr. Rory Manning, Board of Education member Suzie Lustig, Hannah Proce, Katherine Kennedy and Harborfields High School Principal Timothy Russo.
Three hundred students from across Long Island participated in the Young Professionals Chamber of Commerce’s 16th Annual Emerging Leaders Business Competition for 2018. Four of the winners this year were from Harborfields High School. Congratulations to: Hannah Proce who placed third in her category; Katie Kennedy and Patrick Wilson who placed second in their category and Wade Leskody who placed first in his competition.
According to its website, the Young Professionals Chamber of Commerce engages high school students in the Long Island community and enhances their leadership skills in a professional environment. The group attended the conference with adviser Alison Matthews.
