1^st Annual Veterans Services Day Scheduled

The Huntington Opportunity Resource Center & American Legion Greenlawn Post 1244

When: Friday, February 22, 2019 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Where: Walt Whitman High School, 301 West Hills Rd. Huntington Station, NY 11746

Why: This event is to bring together veterans of all war eras and their families to obtain information and services from dozens of human services providers, not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, health care providers, public utilities, employers and others who seek to enhance the life of our veterans. The information that will be available at this event will prove invaluable to many veterans.  We urge you to please bring your questions and concerns!

Lunch will be provided.

As a bonus incentive for attendance, each Veteran will receive 3 raffle tickets for our Chinese Auction upon entry. Both Free of charge.

Thanks to South Huntington Union Free School District, Superintendent David Bennardo and Principal John Murphy for extending your hospitality and providing us a location for our very first joint Veteran Services Day at Walt Whitman High School.
